Cricket South Africa (CSA) has revealed an exciting lineup for the 2024/25 international home season, promising a riveting series of matches. The Proteas Men will face off against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, while the Proteas Women will host England, marking a season filled with cricketing action and anticipation.

The action-packed schedule begins with South Africa 'A' squaring off against Sri Lanka 'A' in both limited-overs and four-day matches from August 31 to September 18, setting the stage for the intense contests ahead.

The Proteas Men kick off their Test campaign against Sri Lanka, with the first Test scheduled at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in Durban from November 27 to December 1, followed by the second Test at Dafabet St George’s Park in Gqeberha from December 5 to 9. Simultaneously, the Proteas Women will engage in a series against England, commencing with a thrilling three-match T20 International series from November 24 to 30, followed by a three-match One-Day International series from December 4 to 11. Notably, the women's tour will feature the historic return of Test cricket to South Africa, with a four-day encounter against England at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein from December 15 to 18.

December will see the Proteas Men's white-ball team in action against Pakistan, featuring three KFC T20Is from December 10 to 14, followed by as many ODIs from December 17 to 22, including the much-anticipated Pink Day fixture on December 22 at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.


The men's season culminates with a two-match Test series against Pakistan, including the traditional Boxing Day Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion from December 26 to 30, and the New Year’s Test at World Sports Betting Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town from January 3 to 7, promising a thrilling end to the season.


Fans can secure their seats for these exhilarating matches as tickets go on sale on August 19, with CSA CEO, Pholetsi Moseki, expressing excitement for the season and highlighting the opportunity to showcase South African cricket's talent and competitiveness while fostering camaraderie among nations.

South Africa ‘A’ embarks on a highly anticipated tour against Sri Lanka ‘A’, promising a series of captivating encounters across various formats.

In the One-Day Matches segment, cricket enthusiasts can witness the clash of talents at JB Marks Oval, Potchefstroom, on the following dates:

- Saturday, 31 August

- Monday, 02 September

- Wednesday, 04 September


Transitioning to the longer format, the Four-Day Matches unfold at distinct venues:

- From 08 to 11 September, Kimberley Oval, Kimberley, sets the stage for extended battles.

- Following that, from 15 to 18 September, cricket aficionados can enjoy the action at Willowmoore Park, Benoni.


The Proteas Men’s Inbound Tour against Sri Lanka promises exhilarating Test Series fixtures, creating moments of cricketing brilliance:

- From 27 November to 01 December, fans can flock to Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, Durban, for the first encounter.

- Continuing the saga, from 05 to 09 December, Dafabet St George’s Park, Gqeberha, hosts the next thrilling chapter.

Then, the Proteas Men brace for an electrifying showdown with Pakistan across various formats, igniting the passion of cricket enthusiasts:

- KFC T20I Series:

  - Tuesday, 10 December, the battle commences at 18:00 at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, Durban.

  - Friday, 13 December, SuperSport Park, Centurion, sets the stage for the next enthralling encounter.

  - Saturday, 14 December, the action moves to DP World Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, captivating fans with its intensity.

- ODI Series:

  - From 17 to 22 December, cricket aficionados can experience the thrill of One-Day Internationals at Boland Park, Paarl, World Sports Betting Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town, and DP World Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

- Test Series:

  - From 26 to 30 December, the historic Boxing Day Test unfolds at SuperSport Park, Centurion, igniting the passion of cricket enthusiasts.

  - From Sunday, 24 November, the action kicks off at Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium, East London.

- ODI Series:
