In a captivating cricket encounter between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, the visitors found themselves in early trouble after losing five wickets swiftly in the first half of their innings. However, a determined partnership between Brian Bennet and Johnathan Campbell orchestrated a remarkable recovery, mustering a vital 73-run stand. Their adept pacing and late surge propelled Zimbabwe to a respectable total of 139.

In response, Bangladesh commenced their innings with gusto, with Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan forging a promising opening partnership of 41 runs within the powerplay. However, Tanzania's departure, courtesy of a brilliant catch by Bennet off Ndlovu's bowling, briefly derailed Bangladesh's progress. Despite several rain interruptions disrupting their rhythm, Bangladesh appeared poised for victory, only to encounter a brief stumble when Luke Jongwe struck twice in a single over, tilting the balance momentarily in Zimbabwe's favor.

Yet, Bangladesh demonstrated resilience, weathering the storm and gradually regaining control through collective batting efforts. Despite losing wickets at crucial junctures, they maintained composure, ultimately securing the win with a boundary. Despite commendable efforts from Zimbabwe's bowlers, particularly Jongwe and Richard Ngarava, who snared crucial wickets, their valiant display couldn't prevent Bangladesh from clinching victory.

With this win, Bangladesh surged to a commanding 2-0 lead in the 5-match series, leaving Zimbabwe still in pursuit of their first victory on the tour.
