India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja announced his retirement from T20 Internationals on June 30, 2024. The 35-year-old joins Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in stepping down after India's victorious 2024 T20 World Cup campaign.

Jadeja debuted in February 2009 against Sri Lanka and played 74 T20Is, scoring 515 runs at a strike rate of 127.16. His highest score, an unbeaten 46 off 29 balls, came against England in 2022. As a bowler, he took 54 wickets at an economy rate of 7.13, with best figures of 3/15 against Scotland in the 2021 T20 World Cup. An outstanding fielder, Jadeja also claimed 28 catches.

On Instagram, Jadeja expressed his gratitude, stating, "With a heart full of gratitude, I bid farewell to T20 internationals... Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true."

Jadeja's all-round skills and dynamic fielding made him a cornerstone of India's T20I success. As he continues in ODIs and Tests, his impact on T20 cricket will be fondly remembered.
