South Africa have secured their place in the grand finale of the Men's T20 World Cup 2024 with a commanding nine-wicket victory over Afghanistan at Tarouba. The Proteas showcased their bowling might, skittling out Afghanistan for a mere 56 runs in 12 overs.

Afghanistan's captain Rashid Khan opted to bat first, hoping to set a challenging target. However, Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada had other plans, dismantling the Afghan top order in the powerplay. Jansen's crucial strikes earned him figures of 3/16. The middle order collapsed under pressure from Tabraiz Shamsi and Anrich Nortje.
