Cricket Scotland Set to Host Australia for T20 Series in September

Cricket lovers in Scotland are in for a deal with as Cricket Scotland and Cricket Australia showed a three-healthy T20 international collection in Edinburgh this September.

The matches, scheduled for September 4th, 6th, and 7th at The Grange, can be a historic first for Australia's men's group playing in Scotland given that their 2013 ODI victory on the equal venue. Both their preceding encounters, within the 2013 ODI and the 2015 World Cup, saw Australia emerge effective.

This thrilling assertion comes only a day before Scotland and Australia lock horns of their Group B conflict at the continuing ICC Men's T20 World Cup in St Lucia. The September collection will serve as a important heat-up for Australia earlier than their furnishings towards England later that month.


Mitch Marsh, Australia T20 captain, said :-

“I’m really excited about the trip and the series in Scotland, and I know the team is pretty pumped about it as well. 

“My brother Shaun was lucky enoough to play in the last game we played in Edinburgh and had nothing but good things to say, so it will be great to follow in his footsteps. “Scotland have developed into a really good unit as we’ve seen at this World Cup. It will be a great privilege to play them on home turf.”
