The debutant Tanzid Hasan brilliant knock takes his team over the line. Bangladesh have won this game by 8 wickets in 1st T20I.

In a cricket match between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, Zimbabwe had a promising start with debutant Joylord Gumbie and Brian Bennet adding boundaries early on. However, a collapse followed Gumbie's dismissal, with experienced players like Sikandar Raza and Sean Williams departing for golden ducks. Zimbabwe found themselves struggling at 41 for 7 after being 36 for 1 initially.

Clive Madande and Wellington Masakadza then staged a resilient partnership, adding 75 runs. Madande scored 43 runs off 39 balls, while Masakadza contributed 34 runs. Despite their efforts, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 124, with Bangladesh's Mohammad Saifuddin and Taskin Ahmed taking 3 wickets each.

In response, Bangladesh faced an early setback when Litton Das fell cheaply. However, debutant Tanzid Hasan and Najmul Shanto steadied the innings with a partnership of 52 runs. Tanzid impressed with a half-century on his T20I debut, scoring an unbeaten 67 off 47 balls. Towhid Hridoy's contribution of 33 not out guided Bangladesh to victory with eight wickets in hand.
